Summary of Blogging 2006
I guess the trendy thing bloggers do is summarize their year of blogging. Here’s mine:
Looking at my statistics, I had a total of 60 posts for the year, which is 1.15 posts per week or something silly like that. Eighteen of those posts were in the last month and a half when I started posting about three times a week. Yet the last three weeks of the year killed productivity since I didn’t have a queue built up. The holidays are just plain busy.
Most visited posts
The following posts were the most visited, according to my web stats.
- Caffeine and Power Naps
- Writing Effective Email
- The Rocky Mountains Credit Card Signature
- Lost Cell Phone Hack
Most commented posts
My four loyal readers and The Wife made these the most commented-on posts of the year. I think the Open for Business post had a stunning 9 comments all together. Wow!
- Open for Business: 10 Things in the First 30 Days

- It’s official… I like C# better than VB.NET
My personal favorites
These aren’t the most popular posts, but are three that I like a lot for whatever reason.
