I know I’m getting married and all, but I just wonder about that whole parenting thing.

We just had the carpets cleaned at the house in preparation of our big day. Last night I was getting my step-son-to-be ready for bed and he threw a screaming temper tantrum when I took off his diaper. Jen and I tried to coax him into getting clean pants but he wouldn’t sit down – instead choosing to stand by the door.

It was then I had to make the diving poop grab. For the sake of the faint hearted, let’s just say that he had good reason for not wanting to get changed yet. Bottom line: I caught the game-winning ball, and kept the carpet clean.

Ahh… parenthood.
